I appreciate your attention Dr.Luca…….and I want you to know….I appreciate the..advice you gave me; you evidently cant (wont) help but care about the hurting people you encounter. Thank you, and God bless you and yours.

Dr. Catrina Luca is “something special”, but she is a Psych; she knows she is special. She has got that innate ability to reach inside; and I consider myself a fairly harden Special Operator; to flip the toggle, hit reset and help individuals understand what is really important. I pray she has the opportunity to help more of our Warriors post their military careers.

I want to take a moment outside of our professional dealings this morning and thank you. You are an exceptional young lady that made the process an enlightening experience. I do not know if you learned your interpersonal communication skills as you became a Doctor or if that something that comes naturally, but you truly put people at ease and I thank you for listening today. This old Paratrooper needed that. Preparing for our teleconference caused me to take a look at myself in a way in which I am not accustomed too. It was a lot to digest at once. I am now thinking about many of my actions and what causes them. Sorry about the emotional display, it has begun to happen more frequently since my discovery of mortality. Gods way of getting my attention.
I know that what you do is your job, but it also is abundantly apparent that it is your passion. From my perspective, you are doing what you were meant to do.
As a vet, like several others in your Family, and as a parent, your parents and brother should be proud of what you do. Thank you again for treating me with respect and patience. You touched someone’s life today.
